Ph.D. student recruitment (Biomedical area)
Dr. Jiujiu Yu from the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at the University of Nebraska Lincoln is recruiting a highly-motivated Ph.D. student for Fall 2022. Dr. Yu’s research has focused on the role of the NLRP3 inflammasome and chronic inflammation in obesity, aging, and liver diseases and the identification of nutraceuticals to suppress such chronic inflammation. Dr. Yu’s group has published original research articles in highly influential journals, such as Journal of Extracellular Vesicles (impact factor 25.😎 and Theranostics (impact factor 11.6). Minimum qualification includes a B.S. or equivalent degree in biology, biochemistry, or related field. Previous research experience in cell culture and mouse models is highly desirable.
